The River Cruise Line, now entering its seventh year, is fast becoming a leading tour operator specialising in European river cruises. As a well respected company in the industry, we are the preferred operator for many publications who we work in partnership with by offering their readers high quality and value for money holidays.

We are passionate about what we do and from our office in Market Harborough our team of dedicated staff commit themselves to provide products which excel in the tourism industry. Our expanding portfolio of holidays continues to widen our market to an assortment of tastes and budgets, but we remain an independent tour operator, relatively small in comparison to the major publicly owned companies, adding a personal touch to the professional service we offer.

We firmly believe that our customer’s needs come first, a traditional value which has been the key to our rapid success and development and is still very much at the core of our day to day practice. Staff Profile

Jo Smith steps into the spotlight this month. 

Jo joined the company in 2002, as a Ticketing Assistance helping to send out information to our customers and coach companies.  Jo has gradually worked her way up the career ladder, through years of hard work, and is now our Operations Manager, looking after a team of 9 people who put together our tours.  Jo’s achievement is no surprise since she has 14 years of travel experience behind her, having previously worked for 2 leading tour operators.

In her spare time Jo enjoys reading, listening to music and socializing with friends.  Earlier this year she had the pleasure of becoming an aunty and hasn’t stopped smiling since!
