Dear Sir/Ms I must write to you, to express our thanks for the superb holiday we have just returned from, on the mps Amsterdam. It was truly magnificent experience and one that neither my husband nor I will forget for a very long time. The ship’s crew, from the captain, to the lady who cleaned the cabins were perfect. So polite and efficient, they could not do enough for you, always smiling and always happy. A credit to the captain, the ship and your company. Brenda, the cruise director, (she also accompanied us on the coach and crossing) was a diamond. Full of information both on the outward journey and on the cruise itself. No matter what time of day or night she was always pleasant and helpful. The Highlight for us was the evening of the Rhine in flames. It was magnificent! It really was a night to remember and so much more than we could have expected. During the rest of the holiday the topic of conversation often reverted to the night in flames. So obviously many of the other guests were as enthralled as we were. This was our 4th trip with your company, the first on the Amsterdam; we were very impressed with the Amsterdam and all its crew, so much so that we have booked again for March next year. I am writing to say what a wonderful holiday we have had on this recent cruise. The whole holiday was most enjoyable and it must be said that the captain and his crew were absolutely brilliant. In particular our thanks must go to the chef and his team who provided my wife with her special wheat free and dairy free meals. They made effort to give her some lovely courses to substitute those she could not eat. Having just returned on the 23rd April from a four day cruise on the mps Amsterdam to Amsterdam, I felt compelled to write to you to say what a wonderful time we had. The ship and meals were ideal, the crew and staff were excellent Captain Arnold, whom I had a dance with in the evenings, was absolutely tops to all the holiday passengers, please pass my comments onto the staff. We have just returned from a four day cruise on the mps Amsterdam, and we felt we must write to say how much we thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. The boat was far above our expectations, comfortable & clean. The food was fantastic and the crew couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. In fact, we didn’t want to come home!! The tour guide we had (Helen Green) and the tour manager (Linda) was excellent – extremely helpful and knowledgeable. In fact we had previously booked to go to the Keukenhof Gardens with another company, but due to the economic climate (I.e. not enough support) the trip was cancelled. We feel it has done us a great favour as we would not hesitate in booking further holidays with you and would not hesitate in recommending you to friends and family. Thank you very much. Having just returned home after holiday on the above cruise, plus time with our family in Wales, I thought it time to write about our first experience with your company. I should like to say my wife and I have two complaints to make; the first is the fact that we should have travelled with you before and secondly we should have chosen a longer cruise. Your organisation for this holiday was excellent and we have nothing but praise for you and your staff. I would like to enlarge. My wife and I have never been river cruising before but have never had the level of service we received from your tour director Darren and tour Manager Maggie. In particular, Darren was very informative and did not flood us with verbal rubbish that we have experienced in the past. Everything he did was with a smile and he had an incredible eye for detail. Billy was our coach driver and from the moment we boarded the coach we were treated as if he had known us forever, a delightful man. Again nothing was too much trouble for him. His jokes were too good! His humour was such that my wife believed him until he delivered the punch line! The Lady Anne is a lovely ship and captain Wido Arts and his crew were excellent in their duties and looked after us as if we were their family. Everything was done with a smile. The speed with which they transferred luggage from shore to ship & vice versa was something to behold. We would like to cruise on the Lady Anne again, in cabin 78, with The River Cruise Line in 2010 and to this end I should be obliged if you would send us a brochure for us to peruse. Dear Sir I would like to place on record my thanks to your organisation for a wonderful New Year’s Cruise on the Rhine. All aspects of the 5 days were impressive. The Journey to Andernach by rail was without incident and very comfortable. The mps Amsterdam was without doubt one of the friendliest ships I have been on. The crew were helpful in every respect. My wife is having treatment for cancer and cannot eat solid food. I did not write to you in advance regarding diets as it would have been very difficult to explain exactly what she was able to cope with. However the purser, Marloes, could not have been more helpful. Food was blended and blitzed allowing my wife to eat the small portions she could manage. I cannot praise the crew of the Amsterdam more highly. They were at all times friendly and worked as a team. Nothing was too much trouble. They all took an interest in the well being of the passengers and were obviously concerned if there was a problem which actually happened rarely. The cabins were comfortable and clean; the food was excellent with an exceptional variety over the four days. It was impossible to find fault. I will surely recommend your organisation to friends. We have just completed a ten day cruise along the Rhine. It is the first time we have ever been on this type of holiday and I had to write to say how much we enjoyed ourselves and would definitely think about going again. I’m sorry that it has taken me so long. It was my pleasure to have travelled on the Lady Anne with my wife cruising the Rhine to Switzerland. May I say that it was one of the best Holiday experiences that the both of us had ever had in over 33 years of wedded bliss. From the very start when we were welcomed aboard by the Captain Wido’s superb crew to excellent cruise director & cruise manager (Brenda & Becky) and of course not forgetting the coach driver Peter Wylie who was very helpful as well as being a brilliant driver on all of our trips. I have no hesitation in recommending this cruise or indeed all the ships company aboard the Lady Anne to anyone that likes holidays that are just a little bit more special than the normal, oh! And the food was absolutely fabulous, (well done chefs) thanks once again for such a brilliant time and my wife and I look forward to cruising again in the near future with captain Wido on his fantastic ship. I felt that I should write to say how well we were looked after when we had the norovirus outbreak while on board the Lady Anne. Everyone did their best to help us and the care was very good both on board and in hospital. It must have been very difficult for everyone involved and I have nothing but praise for the way it was handled. We had medics on our coaches for our homeward journey making it as worry free as possible. Thank you for returning the money so promptly and for the flowers sent to Mrs Gregory whose name the booking was in. This won’t put me off cruising with the Lady Anne. Dear Sirs, Rhine Valley Turkey & Tinsel Unfortunately I was one of the passengers that was on the Lady Anne when it was hit by the Noro Virus. I would like to congratulate you and all your staff on the way you handled the whole affair. The cruise director Mark and the Cruise Manager Gill worked tirelessly throughout, and kept us all up to date as soon as any new information became available. I’m sure these actions stopped any panic that could have happened. The whole crew were very helpful. My Husband was very appreciative of you keeping him up to date about what was happening to us all. To receive a full refund of the cruise the day after I got home was a surprise, as was the beautiful flowers and chocolates. We only seem to hear about horror stories of holidays, but not the ones that surpass our expectations, what a shame. This was the first time we had done a river cruise, we enjoyed it so much, we have booked for next year, on the Four river trip, taking friends with us, who had seen the photo's and video. I can not praise the staff and the captain enough. The lounge was truly a home from home, from the minute we were picked up in our home town till the time we were droped off there, nothing was to much trouble for the driver or our tour mananger. Right from the beginning of the holiday, everyone was so helpful and considerate, all with a happy smile, and ‘no problem’ to anything they did for us. And so the start of our ten days on the Lady Anne. The staff, all of them, were so kind and considerate, and could and would turn their hands to everything and anything. They did help us considerably, and it certainly made for a very happy relaxing holiday, for me. For ten days I was pampered, fed, watered and slept. The chefs certainly spoilt us with all he various choices of food, it was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed it all. I will see to the waistline - tomorrow!

We have just returned from a trip aboard the Lady Anne on the Rhine in Flames cruise and I wanted to say a big thank you for such a wonderful trip but thank you seems so inadequate for the super holiday we had onboard. The coach was on time for our early morning pickup and we were delivered safely to a sparkling, very clean Lady Anne that afternoon. From Captain Wido down to the last member of staff everyone was so helpful and considerate to all the passengers on board and I am sure it is because of this that many passengers return to sail again and again for holidays abroad. The meals every day could not be faulted in fact the two chefs are to be commended that they proceed such a high standard of food for so many passengers. Our tour couriers were excellent at providing us with information (and humour) both on the coaches and on the boat. They were always available if we needed any help or information and made sure that all enjoyed the holiday. We will certainly be aboard the Lady Anne again – sooner rather than later we hope.

It was my first experience of river cruising and I found it most enjoyable. The organisation, comfort and friendliness of all the Lady Anne personnel was excellent and I do hope to repeat the experience.
