• Guadalquivir

The Guadalquivir is the only navigable river in Spain and has played a leading role in many of Spain’s historic moments, with sieges and conquests being fought on its waters. The river crosses all of Andalusia and a river cruise on its waters is one of the best ways to see some of Spain’s rich history.

The name Guadalquivir comes from the Arabic wadi-al-kabir meaning ‘great river’ and it’s also a great way to discover what lies at the heart of Andalusia.
