IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE BOOKED A HOLIDAY WITH THE RIVER CRUISE LINE IN 2017

You may already be aware that the River Cruise Line sadly ceased trading on 16th March 2017. For anyone who has booked a holiday with the company and is anxious about what this might mean, we would like to offer immediate reassurance with the news that Arena Travel have bought the assets of the company and will continue to offer the holiday that you have booked, on the same date, at the same price, sailing on the same ship. Just like the River Cruise Line, Arena Travel are also a member of ABTA and an ATOL holder so your continued financial protection is ensured and you will be able to quickly recover all monies you have paid and proceed with your holiday as planned. Arena Travel have over 40 years experience arranging holidays all over the world and we are committed to ensuring a seamless transfer and excellent service for every trip that has been booked.

Because your booking will now be with a different company, there are a few steps you’ll need to take in order to re-confirm your holiday with Arena and to start the process of reclaiming all the monies you have already paid to the River Cruise Line. These are :

The first thing to do is to contact our customer service team on 01473 917 300 to re-confirm your holiday with Arena Travel. We apologise in advance, as lines are likely to be very busy, so to avoid a lengthy wait you can leave your name and booking reference as stated above and one of our team will return your call. You can also email on rivercruiseline@arenatravel.com to advise of your wish to continue with your holiday.

Having ensured that your holiday is confirmed and safe with Arena Travel, you will now need to apply for your full refund of any monies already paid to the River Cruise Line. If your booking does not involve air travel your claim for refund will be with ABTA and if paid for by card your card provider.
